The Maker Faire Lisbon is a non-profit event, free to participate in or attend, both for Makers or visitors.
There are however a number of support costs involved in running the event that go from pure logistics to manpower — renting equipment, assembling infrastructure, creating on-site materials and content, etc.
In order to offset these costs we need some financial backing, so we're making available sponsorship opportunities to interested parties.
These opportunities are tiered to cater for different kinds of brand/company exposure, and make it easy for businesses of any size to establish a presence in a prestigious event.
Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, and authors of all ages and backgrounds, as well as commercial entities who wish to put their creations on display. Maker Faire’s mission is to entertain, inform, connect and inspire them and the event visitors.
