Maker highlight: Ardozia

Ardozia develops interactive contents for kids, promoting digital literacy through games, educational apps and interactive books, as well as appropriate training.

Among other products, they developed Dash & Dot, two robots designed for teaching the basics of programming to children aged 5 and above, designed for both school and home environments:

Both are programmed via a tablet running the free apps provided on the app store.

Dash (the model shown in the video below, captured during Ilustrarte 2016 at the Museum of Electricity) has positiona, movement and obstacle sensors, can capture and playback sounds and has a very expressive “look”.
