After three amazing but exhausting days, the Maker Faire Lisbon organisation team had to take a well deserved break to put up sore feet, catch up on their sleep and generally take stock.
This year was a smashing success - we handily beat last year’s attendance figures, with nearly 14000 participants, 262 makers, 25 scheduled workshops and our first ever FPV drone racing event.
Although we haven’t yet posted all project descriptions yet (sorry about that), we will be doing so over the next few days, as well as following up on media coverage, social networks and community feedback.
But before we do that, we’d like to thank everyone involved - every Maker, every volunteer, everyone at SAPO and the Pavilhão do Conhecimento who was involved, and, of course, all our visitors.
We think it’s fair to say we’ve all left a little of ourselves at the Maker Faire, and look forward to organizing next year’s event!
