At The Faire - Open Source Furniture

Posted on 16 Sep 2015

Open Source Furniture

The metaland design studio and the OPO-LAB Fab Lab bring us a line of open-source furniture especially created for digital manufacturing.

These pieces of furniture are created via CAD and cut by a CNC or a 3D printer in such a way that they can be built in any part of the world.

At the Maker Faire Lisbon we will get to know drawings and prototypes, as well as watch as selected pieces are built on the spot.

Pedro Galego is 28 and founded metaland in 2014 in the beautiful city of Porto. He is driven to explore the intersection between creativity and practicality, and enthusiastic about original, disruptive concepts.
