At the faire: Firedarts

Posted on 28 Aug 2014

Ricardo Alves has a degree from the Universidade do Algarve and is a member of the eLab Hackerspace. He developed and is presenting us FireDarts, a dartboard in which the scores are automatically monitored. It allows anyone to own a dartboard like the ones you find at bars, in your house.

The dartboard is connected to micro-controller, which in turn interfaces with the PC running the Java based software. The software supports some of the popular game modes and also a few special games specifically developed for this project.

We have the feeling this project will gather lots of people at the Maker Faire.
