Maker Faire showcases the amazing work of all kinds of makers of any age — anyone who embraces the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.
A Maker is an enthusiast of DIY/DIT(do it together) with a great attitude towards sharing knowledge and information, who builds stuff they either need or find it fun to create (rather than consume) and learn from that experience.
They use a variety of tools and techniques, analog or digital, traditional or cutting edge, leveraging the web as a key channel for sharing their knowledge and experiences.
If you think you’re a Maker and you have a project or activity you’d like to show at Lisbon Mini Maker Faire 2014, then don’t be afraid, fill this form and submit your application as soon as possible.
And spread the word to your Maker friends, we want them to know about us — and, of course, us about them.
If you still don’t know what to expect from a Maker Faire, take a look at this video, maybe it will help:
You can watch the Make: video channel for more videos too.
